One of Britain's leading musical stars Michael Ball will undergo a major transformationto play Tracy's mother Edna. Michael's many musical credits includeleading roles in Aspects of Love, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and A Womanin White. He has also had 12 best-selling solo albums, and countlesssell out concerts.
Comedian and actor Mel Smith will play Tracy's father Wilbur. Mel first shot to fame inthe comedy show Not the Nine O'Clock News and is widely known for hiscomedy sketch series' Smith and Jones.
Leanne Jones trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and makes her professional debut to play Tracy.
Michael Ball will perform 8 shows per week (barring unforseen circumstances)and his contract runs for 6 months from the 11th October 2007. He will be on leave from the 23rd December 2007 to the 5th January 2008 andwill not perform throughout the Christmas/New Year period.
